The story

On July 1, 2026, Georgia's Putting Georgia's Patients First Act brought flower and vaporizers to the state's medical program. Patients suddenly faced strain names, terpene charts and lab reports with little explanation.

askterpy fills that gap. Terpy, a peach-and-cannabis mascot, explains what each terpene does, decodes lab reports, matches strains by how people want to feel, and shows which Georgia stores list them. Everything is education, not medical advice.

Who's behind askterpy

askterpy was started by a longtime cannabis hobbyist who spent years in Oregon during its move to legal adult use, growing dozens of strains under Oregon law and, in later years, focusing on high-CBD, lower-THC plants.

Now in Georgia, they built askterpy to help new patients understand what's on the shelf, without selling anything. askterpy isn't affiliated with or paid by any dispensary or brand, and nothing here is medical advice. Home growing isn't legal in Georgia.

Story angles

What's really on Georgia's shelves

We track every product listed by Trulieve and Botanical Sciences daily, so we can show what changed since flower and vapes arrived July 1.

Lab reports nobody can read

Most patients get a COA they can't decode. askterpy turns them into plain English.

Vape, don't smoke

Flower is legal but smoking isn't. We explain the rule and how vaporizing works.

Independent by design

No dispensary, brand or lab pays or owns askterpy. The site earns nothing from links.
