Terpy's 20-second version
We never sell your data
Not to brands, not to anyone.
We keep very little
Sign-in details, your saves and journal. That's it.
Visits are anonymous
No IP addresses stored; clicks are counted, not tied to you.
Delete anytime
Email terpy@askterpy.com and it's gone.
The short version
We collect as little as we can, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it anytime.
What we collect
- If you sign in: your email, name and profile photo (from Google or Apple, if you use them).
- What you save: saved strains, ratings, feelings and journal notes.
- Clicks out: when you click to a dispensary, we count which product and page — not who you are.
- On your device: your age confirmation and, if not signed in, your journal are kept in your browser.
Our Google ads
We run a small Google Search ad that points Georgia patients to our free card guide. To know whether the ad helps, the site loads Google's ad tag, which uses cookies to tell Google when someone who clicked the ad reads the card guide (stays about 30 seconds or scrolls halfway). Google receives that visit, your browser and device details and an ad-click code — never your name, email, saved strains or journal.
We use it only to measure the ad and help Google show it to people looking for the guide. We don't load this tag for visitors in the EU, UK or Switzerland. To opt out, use Google's My Ad Center, block third-party cookies, or turn on your browser's Global Privacy Control.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your data, we don't share your journal with dispensaries or brands, and we don't ask for your medical card number or ID.
Who helps us run the site
Our hosting and database provider stores account data securely. Sign-in through Google or Apple is handled by them under their own privacy policies.
Deleting your data
Email terpy@askterpy.com from the address on your account and we'll delete your account, saved strains and journal within 30 days.
Age
askterpy is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
